Donate Towards the Flower Power Program

The flowers play an essential role in welcoming patrons & visitors Downtown, their color and beauty enhance our city from Memorial Day weekend – October. Warm glowing white lights also amplify our downtown experience and vibrancy. The BID plants and maintains 120 ground flower pots and flower beds at Freedom Park, Market Street Park, and Exchange Street Plaza. We also purchase & maintain hanging baskets in the district from James Street – John Street.

We so appreciate your help subsidizing this project. Without the support of businesses, organizations and individuals like you, we would not be able to continue the program. It is an expensive project that is offset through our contract with the City and the many friends of Downtown. The funds go directly to the daily watering, maintenance and replacement of the flowers throughout the season. Your help has allowed us to expand the program to include more ground pots & flower beds and now hanging baskets. Thank you so much!
